Prior to Facebook, as an independent executive producer and partner/executive producer at Shadow Productions, Cornman was able to focus on her interest and enthusiasm for developing, writing, and producing content tailored for online and marketing distribution channels.
Before indulging her entrepreneurial spirit at Shadow, Cornman was General Manager/Head of Production at Time Inc. Studios where she was responsible for divisional management, team building, and brand outreach. Prior to Time Inc., Cornman played an integral role in client and market expansion for Flickerlab, a content development and animation company. Her reputation and track record of successful company building led to Cornman’s position as VP/Managing Director at Broadway Video, a division of the entertainment conglomerate owned by Lorne Michaels, creator of Saturday Night Live. She spearheaded its revitalization by revamping the creative group, establishing a sales team, and leading the management of design and post production on projects for major television and cable networks, including the redesigning of the CBS Sports Network, the Superbowl 2003 on-air package, as well as VH1′s True Spin, and projects for Showtime, Comedy Central, and MTV.
Cornman was one of the original team members hired to launch the highly regarded visual effects company, The Tape House Digital/Black Logic. For over a decade, as Vice-President/Executive Producer, she repositioned Black Logic from a traditional post production facility into a design and production company in demand from coast-to-coast. Her responsibilities incorporated oversight of all project teams including sales, production, production artists, and operations personnel.
She resides in Bronxville, NY with her husband and three college aged children and serves on the Board of Directors for the Pelham Community Rowing Association.
